We weighted very carefully against the market standards; within the dev team and beta team everyone was entitled to suggest a price (because they had plenty of time to evaluate the product and make comparisons).
The Maddog X is, in its nature, a niche type of product and not one for the masses; we are aware of that and we know that a relatively inexperienced simmer might not even be able to appreciate this type of add on.
People might feel differently about the price and we are ok with it.
Only the developers know how much effort in terms of time and money has gone into the product.
Whoever is genuinely interested in this add on and believes it is worth it, will definitely buy it.
If you think the price is too high, you are entitled to your opinion and we understand.
Let's leave comparisons with other products aside as they are not really pertinent and a bit unfair towards all parties involved.
